Heater only blowing warm air on drivers side

Did replacing the drivers side Air Mix Damper Servo on your limited fix this issue? Having this issue right now, what I’ve done so far:

- Flushed heater core twice both ways
- drained and filled coolant with pink stuff

I’m having the exact same issue where my drivers side blows perfect heat, scorching hot, passengers side is blowing ambient, no heat at all.

With the Limited you have the Dual Zone HVAC system which has a blend door for each side, so if you have both sides temperatures set to warm/hot I'm pretty sure your issue is the blend door on the passenger's side since that's the side with the issue.

You can check this by locating the servos on the passenger's side and changing the temperature setting from high to low and vice versa and see if the arm on the blend servo is moving it's full range.

Hey thanks for responding! I actually checked the blend doors already, sorry forgot to mention that. Took off the blend door actuator and manually actuated the doors and they’re not stuck and do open/close. Before I took it off, I did check to see if the arm moves and it does. I just don’t feel any hot air on the passengers side. Weird but I might try changing the drivers side Air Mix Damper Servo like the previous guy said, seems like my last resort before going to the dealer unfortunately.

5th gen issue.

Having the same issue. 5th gen Trail edition so no dual temp control. I have hot heat on drivers side and left vent at dash. Also hot on defrost but cools as you go towards passenger side. I’ve removed passenger side dash to put eyes on servo/door. Took a piece of the ducting out and saw the door move while went from hot to cold. Air in all settings is fine just cold on passenger side. Also reverse flushed the heater core and it did absolutely nothing. New here so can’t start a thread on 5th gen’s page sorry for any inconvenience

Only Limited and dual zone optioned HVAC will have half cabin temp issue because of dual Air Mix Servo. Driver side servo is easy to replace. Don't know about passenger side.
