Hope I am posting this on the correct page. I have a 1997 4Runner Limited. Engine over heated due to a fan not working my daughter was driving it and it fried the engine. A friend of mine. Installed a used engine with 66,000 miles on it all new belts, a new radiator, Thermostat and hoses. Truck is running great, However the heat is not working good. I had the heater core flushed, installed a new thermostat again and a new heater control valve. Still no luck. So my buddy looked at it again and when the truck is warmed up the top radiator hose is hot and the two lines running through the fire wall are hot, However the bottom radiator hose is not hot. Also the heater does blow some heat more when the car is moving and cools down when you stop. He thinks it is the water pump or maybe the radiator that was installed is defective. Any ideas just don't want to spend any more money without some help. TY
