I know the resistor goes out on these things but does in affect the force at which the air comes out? My first and second speeds do not work but it seems like it used to blow a lot more air out on high? any ideas?

The blower resistor module controls blower speed. Lower speed = lower force.
High speed is direct and not controlled by the resistor module.

what i am saying is if my heater is on high the velocity at which the air came out used to more. For example if the heater was on high I could hold my hand in front of the main two vents and feel the heat about 2 feet away. Now its about 8 inches.

Could be the blower motor is dying, clogged ductwork, clogged filter, clogged AC or heating condenser, etc.
