Heating controls 2 green bulbs going on and off.

Took dash cover off and left light works if I bang on the dash. Right side is not working even if I switch bulbs. Truck does have after market stereo, but all other lights work except these two.

Can the bulb sockets be bad, or maybe the wrong bulbs were installed?
Is there a diagram for this wiring and what the factory bulb sizes are for dash instruments?

Try this thread. I used it to replace all my dash lights. At best it may show you how to take it apart to see if you have a loose connection or bulb.

I figured it out! The previous owner replaced bulbs with Sylvania 74LL, same volt and wattage as stock, but they are a little bigger, so they don't fit properly and that's why they only work once and awhile when i hit the dash!

I purchased Sylvania 2721 LL, its a direct fit and works for most of the dash lights except for the small bulbs with plastic base.

These are the ones I am trying to track down now. The two bulbs for ECT and back window button. Toyota has no idea!

Do you know where to get these?

Do the buttons on doors light up?

Do you know if the buttons on doors light up? Mine seem to be all out!
I'm speaking of the mirror controls, windows, door lock and passenger side as well..

Got those exact bulbs from my local dealer for my AC controls. As far as the door controls, only my driver side window button lights up. It has been like that since I bought it. It looks like the other window switches should light up too but I haven't taken that apart yet to investigate. Post up if you find out.
