Has anyone used a heavy duty scissor jack, like the one below as an alternative to a hi-lift or the OEM jack once you move to larger tires.
I understand that these are typically used to level 5th wheel trailers, and a plate will have to be made for the top to correctly cradle the frame or a rock slider... They have a 7,500lb capacity and lift 24"! AND these are so much more compact than a hi-lift or bottle jack, won't leak like a hydraulic bottle jack and they're nearly as stable/reliable as a jack stand since that ACME screw isn't going to start spinning on it's own.
