Hella wiring question

Today I finished installing my hella 500's I had laying around and made Momo's floating mounts. I painted them white to match my 4r, and wired them up to a relay. The only thing I have left to do is run the switch wire. I would like to tap into the factory fog lights so the hellas turn on with the pillar switch, and I don't have any aftermarket switches. Is this possible? I was looking at the fogs today and there is a white wire and black wire going to them. Would I just run a wire from the relay and tap one of these wires? Also, would it be okay to do this and run the fog light mod at the same time without messing up the factory wiring? (grounding the highs so you can always run the fogs)

Here is the diagram. If you use the relay are run the wires to the oem switch you should be fine.

Thanks egb18t!! That makes it alot more clear. Which wire would I tap into though for the switch wire? I did everything else right according to that diagram but I still can't figure out which wire to tap for the factory fog switch. would it be up near the column switch or one of the two wires down by the actual fog lights?

I can paint, fabricate and install stuff all day no problems but I just have a wiring handicap for some reason :doh:

I tapped into the headlight for the switched wire. I don't remember which color it was.
