Finally had time to get these installed! Thoughts? Took some modifying and 2 holes in the top of my bumper but they were under the hood so it didn't bother me.

What do you guys think?

It sure looks good..but..

I noticed that the V8 emblem is covered

:)

How about this:

just a suggestion..

I was thinking about that but I don't like them down there. I'm always in the city and this way I wont have to worry about parallel parking and having someone back into them and breaking one.

I did contemplate it for awhile. Sat in front of my car looking at the V8 symbol and there was no other way I could have them up there and still have the v8 symbol. Plus I had to drill so I'm pretty sure they're gonna stay there. :D

I take it you didn't directly drill into the bumper. Do you have the dimensions by chance of the brackets you used. I've looked at the other threads and never liked them when they were lower under the bumper. Yours is exactly what I want

Very nice. I think that's a pretty good place overall.

Whenever you are installing aftermarket equipment, there is almost always some sacrifice involved. Whether it be some visibility for tints, approach angle for a bull bar, or something aesthetic like the V8 obstruction. Obviously, if having the lights was the priority, then I'm sure he can live with having the emblem back there =)

Good job man, looks clean.

Looks very, very good. And very clean job!

It just came to my mind that four of those at the same place would be just perfect (IMHO).

Thanks guys! I love them. Every time I go out to the garage and see them I have to take a second and look at them. Very happy with how they turned out.

colombo, I agree. 4 would look very sweet! Possibly sometime in the future!

Yes....I see

The link I posted is just an altenate installation incase you don't want to cover the grille and the emblem..
But your installation is the best location of where driving lights should be..

good job!

Looks great !!

Can you take a couple shots of mounting points and where you had to drill with the hood open ....please:D

What watt are they ?? beam pattern .

The one on the drivers side looks a tad crooked.

They are smaller than the 500's most run , correct ?

I'm gettin on my DIY write up so Ill let you know once that's done.

The one on the right (drivers side) was crooked but that was fixed. :D

Ill let you know once the write up is done.
