I have a 1999 4Runner Limited Edition. I am completely new to these forums and recently was able to change my oil by myself for the first time. It was a great accomplishment but now my breaks have gone out and are squeaking. When I idle i hear this metal rotating sound and when i press on the brakes it just gets worse. I figured that i need to replace my brake pads and get some new ones. I was wondering if anybody can lead me to the right information that i need to learn about brakes and learn about replacing brake pads. If anybody could be of help or assistance it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
