Just purchased a new 2012 TE. First 4Runner for me!! Joined the forum to get advice on all the upgrade parts I should get. Thinking of Rock Sliders first. So any advice would be great.

Looks good, I'm biased since it looks just like mine. Just starting to add things to mine, forum member pointed me in the direction of n-fab nerf step rails. Only ones that I've seen that fit the trail edition. Having mine installed tomorrow.

Nice ride and I agree on the color. There are plenty of sliders, just got to figure which one works for you. I am in the same boat as you and thinking between the Shrockworks sliders or the N-fab nerf bars.

Let me know how those work out. I am looking at those, shockworks, and rocky roads rock sliders. I want one that doesn't need me to remove the mudflaps or do any drilling. So many choices it makes my head hurt.

I am also looking at the Rocky Roads one as well. It seem that those 3 are the most popular ones. I want to get some of the parts now but since I just bought it kinda broke. Also looking at a stubby antenna so I can get into my garage without having the factory one hitting it all the time. Any ideas?

HAHA the hood was one of the many reasons I got the TE too bad its not an functional hood scoop :cry2:

Even though I am not too wild about the antenna, I figure to keep it so I know if I clear some unknown garages. So, sorry no help for you
