i decided to join in order to learn more about my 4runner. i drive an 85 4runner which my grandfather gave to me two years ago. it's got 160,000 miles on it and it has of course the mighty but underpowered 22re in it. 5 speed manual and all stock. great truck and i will probably never let go of it.

Welcome from Texas. I bought an 85 brand new off the showroom floor - cream yellow with a black top - yours looks sweet, enjoy and have fun with it.

thanks alot guys! though a bit sluggish, it's a great truck for anything. heck, even going camping when i forgot my tent, folding the rear seats forward made for a good place to sleep.
