Hello all!!

[Gasdoc]

I'm new to the forum and new to Toyota. I've wanted 4 Runner for years but couldn't afford one until now. I just put one on order and should be here in about 8 weeks. Let me know what you think and any recs. Only thing I really don't like about it is rims/tires. Will be used as daily driver/ duck hunting/ dragging 4 wheeler/ dog/ sometimes parked in sketchy urban areas/ camping/ some snow but more off road.

Build:
2011 Limited 4WD/ Nav with sliding cargo deck/ floor mats, cargo mat etc.

Any recs on necessary mods, upkeep, etc?

I'm changing from 2001 Xterra with 140K miles and zero probs.

Congrats!!

I'm sure you will love it. I love mine and it's only the SR5. You can't go wrong with Toyota. My whole family drives them and my fiance' just bought a new Venza a couple of weeks ago. They are great vehicles.

As for the wheels, most people change the LTD wheels out for aftermarket or trade them for the wheels from the SR5. I personally like the 20" LTD wheel and wish I had them.

I haven't had mine long enough to mod it yet, but you can browse through the various threads and see what everyone has done so far. This is a great site to learn as there is a vast amount of knowledge out there.
