Hello,
I registered a long time ago but only posted once. Well I am back. FYI my vehicle is a 03 Statosphere Mica 2wd v6. I have 96k on it. It is one of our vehicles we commute in or was. I was in a accident about two weeks ago stopped at light. In front of me a car made a left in front of an oncoming suburban they hit, some pinball action later the chevy truck hit me hard on the left front and pushed me into the lexus next to me.
The car was totaled and I am going to buy it back. Frame looks just fine. I could drive it if the core support wasn't pushed back so far. It just pushes the radiator hose into the belt so it won't last.
It is well worth fixing and I am going to fix it to keep it. Body shops charge a lot and I can do some labor.
So my reason for being here is to learn and maybe find some parts.
