I've been snooping for years now, but recently posted a couple times so I figured I'd post a formal introduction. I'm an Arizona resident, 23, on my second 4runner.
My first was a Charcoal '97 SR5 with leather and 4wd...which I would still have had I not capsized the car in a snowy ditch after I slipped on black ice heading up to the mountains.
My replacement, current 4runner is in my signature, and I absolutely adore it. I've performed a couple little upgrades on it, but it had port installed leather with limited upgrades from the get go, which is great because I like the cladding, the hood scoop, and the look and exclusiveness of the black leather in a 4th gen...and the JBL speaker system is a must. I don't want to get too crazy with more mods, (added what I've done to the sig) but I'd like to add some sensible updates as time goes on-- notably, I'll probably have to do something about my suspension since I'm still running on the original XREAS at 150k+ miles. It has no leaks and works great, except for a popping/clunking I get when the suspension articulates sometimes...haven't gotten a clear answer from any of my mechanical gurus as to what's causing it.
Anyway, that's my story. Hopefully I can add some pictures here to help tell it at some point. Nice to "meet" you all!
