Hi everyone, I've enjoyed seeing all of the 4Runners and was inspired to have my own project. My wife was driving our 2012 Tacoma but wasn't too practical since me and my boys gave up the motocross bikes for a while. We decided that the 4Runner was ideal. After 8 months of trying to find a sr5 prem with 3rd row in white (i have 2 boys) i decided that i'd have to either order it, or find one on it's way to the dealer. I didn't want to order one and wait another 12 weeks (at best), so I made some calls to some local dealers and one made the mistake of telling me that one in the exact specs i wanted was to arrive in 2 weeks at ANOTHER dealer. I promptly called them up, negotiated the deal with the fleet manager (3 day affair) and went in the next day to make the deal with my trade in, a 2015 Subaru Sti. (bitter sweet trade in) I dropped off the STI, they gave me a crappy Rav4 to drive until the 4runner arrived. After 3 day's i got the call, It was in. I promptly drove in to make the switch at 3:00 pm. Once home and with the weekend upon me it was time for my weekend ride
Day 3
Later that day....were dying to drive it somewhere and have our first adventure as a family so we headed out to Anza with 200 miles on the clock.
On our way to the shakedown run we saw this monster out in Anza
We Found some water.
Finally some rocks- That's me checkin out my lines
It exceeded my expectations and I promptly ordered my build parts that evening just to give it that extra lift and so i can put a RTT and Canoes on it for the Summer (With the wife's approval of course). SCS stealth 6 wheels, BFG's KO 2's in 285/70/17, Toytec 3" Lift, Baja long rack, Husky Mats.
Day 4- 3M Tint @35%
And with the magic of the internet- :zoom: and few days later..........bling :thumb3:
Day 6
Toy tech and Bilstines showed up and i quickly went to work with the install that day. (can you blame me?)
I finished just in time to make bible study at 7:00
Day 7 - I drove down to Baja rack since I was in Coronado for work and picked up the rack. My 8 yr old helped me install the bolts and the wife helped me get it up there.
Day 9-
The BFG KO 2's arrived but my appointment wasn't until Monday. :sobbing:
Day 14- The wife drove down to get the install of the wheels/tires. Off to the Dealer for an alignment.
The best part is, She's excited

Later that day....Husky mats arrived-

I crushed the end of my tailpipe within a couple months with no extension on it. Had to cut it off further back under the bumper
