Hello from eastern Washington

Hi everyone,

I'm Sam. I have posted a couple thing in the 3rd gen forum already, but thought I would introduce myself here too. I live in the tricities area of eastern Washington. I am working on buying a 99 limited right now, but I have to sell my 98 forester too (any takers? Ha.) I found a 99 ltd with a locker in Portland at a dealership. The guy seems like a real used car salesman stereotype...hopefully it's still there next weekend when I have some time to head down.

This forums seems really helpful, you guys helped me decide on 99, after all.

See you on the trail

Which dealer is at? I could swing by there tomorrow and give it a once over for you!

Get the VIN from it and register it at Toyota.com/owners and look at the service history.

It's at auto town Mazda in Gladstone. They said they were appointment only when I talked to them. Don't get too excited to go look at it for me. I found one closer that's about the same. Waiting on undercarriage pics...

I am on my way by there today. I am sure they would not turn away my business over an appt. :-p

Welcome to the forum! I was born and raised on a small farm 15 miles north of Pasco, out on Road 68/Taylor Flats.

Oh really? I assume you know where the ringold hatchery is then? I live a half mile up river from the hatchery. There seems to be quite a large Washington group here =D

Yep. I've been by there plenty of times. Our place was next to the bluffs on the river. Spent a lot of time down on Tower Island.
