Hello from Indy!

Hi all!

Just joined the forum today, I'm not technically a 4R owner yet, but I will be within the next month. Just waiting for that big tax check! I can't wait, but in the meantime I have been doing as much research as possible, and this seems like a great place to get some solid information from other drivers. Anyway, glad to be here!

Hahaha, well, pretty much everybody around here is a Colts fan. I'm not the rabid type, but a fan nonetheless

Is that around Beechgrove?..sometimes I am around the area..have several friends that lives down there . I am in the Speedway area.

Are u planning on getting a 5th Gen?...

Yes sir, I am just southeast of Beech Grove. Probably only a 15 minute drive, at most from there. It's quite a bit more rural than Beech Grove, but it's not too shabby. I've got some friends in Speedway too. My fiance and I are from Columbus originally, so we are pretty close to home on the south side

And yes, I am planning on getting the 5th Gen! I cannot frickin' wait. Every day I curse the IRS for not speeding things up (Waiting on my refund- I had to paper file because we got the new homebuyer credit, and you can't e-file with that). It's taking forever and driving me nuts!

I believe I have just seen one 5th gen around since they came out. The others are on the Dealers lot. I dont think they are doing to well with the new 4r sales here in Indy. I would love to own one tho' a TE.

Yeah, I work in Columbus, and I saw one down here the other day. Other than that, I think maybe I have seen ONE on the interstate. The TE are pretty scarce around here, but they DO have one up in Anderson at Ed Martin Toyota. I have checked around at Beck Toyota, Ed Martin, and Wiese in Columbus (since I work down here). Wiese actually only has 2 of the 2010s, but one of them just happens to be the exact model that I want (I want an SR5 in the gray, with the premium package and running boards). So looks like I may have to buy there...
