Hello from MN. Looking for places to offroad

I finally picked up a 4runner. Got a great deal on a 05 sport edition v8 4wd with low miles. I have already ordered a spacer lift and I am hoping to find some Fj springs for the rear (all I can afford for now). Any advice on how to make the t4r better for off-roading would be great, to include larger all terrain tires that will fit under a 3" spacer lift. Thanks

Welcome. Are you around the Twin Cities? It's winter...off roading comes to us during the winter months. You just have to get out ahead of the plows. Seriously though the closest offroading I have heard about (have not been yet) is about 2 hrs out of the cities.
