Hello T4R.ORG,

I am new to the board but in no way new to 4Runners. I am currently on my third first gen 4Runner since 2001 and 7th 4WD Toyota since 1987. Due to some life changes my current runner is working its way out of my life and I am looking to upgrade, or down grade :noidea: to a 3rd Gen. Some on here may have wheeled with me at one of the EC4RJs, talked to me on another forum or have heard of my old shop Kajobuilt. Anyways, it looks like a great forum.

attached are pictures of my last 3 4Runners

Black version 1 from 2001 to 2003
Exo Cage version 2 from 2005-2008
Short Top version 3 2010 to curent

:welcome: Your trucks are classics. What do your shop specialize in?

When I was running Kajobuilt my main focus was one off tube work: cages, Bumpers, Sliders, Buggies and such. I also did general metal fabrication and was a dealer for Trail Gear, Corbeau Seats, and Pitbull Tires. I gave all that up to spend time with my family 2 years ago and now manage a local Auto Parts store in Pennsylvania called A&A Auto Stores.

As of today I now have KajoRunner ver. 4.0 in my possession. I am guessing the previous owner was at least a lurker on the forums since it has the deck plate mod and gray wire mod already done. It is a 2000, SR5, 5 Speed with E-locker, 265/75R16 tires

Ugh, where do you people find these trucks, very nice!. Welcome to the Forum. Allot of good people around here.

Hi John,
How's it going?
Long time no see.
How's Kathy and the family?

Broderick

Things are going well Broderick, It is good to see you are still around, it has been a LOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time since we wheeled together. I recently acquired another clean 81 to 83 Toy frame if you are interested LOL.

Kathy and the kids are doing good. Ethan is 15 and we are currently building a 1984 pickup together for his first ride.

Old thread bump....

I'm about to move to PA (Philly area) and I'm in the process of purchasing my 2nd 4th Gen T4R. I had my first one when I lived in a state with no vehicle inspections so there were no issues. As with that one, I'm already looking to put a slight lift on this one and wheel spacers. From what I'm reading, I'm going to have issues with wheel spacers in PA huh? Is this true? I guess I can take them off and reinstall them once a year, but if anybody knows of any off-road friendly shops in the area, I'd be very appreciative! Also, any good shops in the area to install suspension components? I'll be living in an apartment and without my own work space.
