Just thought I'd introduce myself here since I have been browsing your forums for several weeks now drooling over mods. Seems like you have a great community and TONS of guides available for modes and whatnot. First thing I will do is get the front reading lights to activate with the doors. I cant believe thats not a default feature in such an otherwise well designed vehicle. even my 96 jeep has that.

I am picking up my '04 White SR5 V8 from the dealer on Saturday (I cant wait). Its got +100k all highway miles but I got a sweet deal on itand it super CLEAN! I cant wait to tear it apart. lol. Anyone else on here from the Albany, NY area? Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum! My sister and her family live in the Albany area (they used to live in Pittsfield, MA).
I make the trip up there a few times a year. Really enjoy the 5-6+ hour trip (each way) in my 4Runner.

Have FUN with your 4Runner and post some photos!!

Cool. I actually live in troy (right behind RPI) but I figured most people wouldn't know where troy was so I mentioned Albany... Jeez most people don't even know Albany is the capital. ;)

Oh by the way, Syracuse, NY here...

Is this a weird winter or what? I can't believe the lack of snow this winter! BTW, I'm pretty far south of you, but still in NY.

Congrats on the runner man. Didn't you know the capital of New York was New York City, hahaha.

Classic response you get when you tell people you're from Albany, the real capital of NY.

I once heard a girl on a gameshow say that the capital of New York is New Jersey.

She had blonde hair and extremely big boobs. And I think she was from California.:biggrin2:
