Hello I'm new with some winter fixes to my runner

So i've been a lurker in the forums for over a year. I'm 27 and this past april i bought myself a 2005 SR5 4x4 V6 in graphite gray from the dealer in spectacular condition. It had 45k miles on it. I traded in my mazda miata for it. (yeah, moved from the smallest car in existence to one of the largest) . Anyways to make a long story short I couldn't be happier. This truck is rock solid and a real performer even stock.

In the past month, I've replaced my tires with bridgestone Dueller A/T RHS as I didn't have the money to go with Revo's. I think the tires are one step down from the revos. I also just had my windshield replaced today with an aftermarket for $250. These guys were impressive and replaced EVERYTHING that was on the glass before...inspection stickers, and even my ezpass adhesive things.

This is my first winter with the truck and contrary to another post I saw here....I've never been more thrilled to have the truck than in the winter. I never have to worry about getting stuck with all my 4x4 options (lo, hi, lock center diff, etc) .

One annoying thing i've noticed is whenever i have the steering wheel all the way turned to one side...i hear a stuttering sound from the left front wheel....kinda weird. I don't think it's the boot but who knows.

Anyways i'm rambling but wanted to say hello and I'm a convert (from a miata nonetheless)

Congrats and welcome to T4R.org.

When you hear the sound, is your steering wheel all the way left and maybe you're going over uneven surfaces? If so, add a dab of grease on the steering stops. The steering stop makes contact with the lower control arm.

no it actually occurs on every surface from smooth to rough and always happens when it's all the way left like u said.
