first off i would like to say hello and i just recently bought a 96 4 runner sr5 with rear locker and it had 115k miles on it. I did a inspection on it and saw that the front coil-overs where blown as to all the fluid and dirt that has accumulated around the strut and down to the bottom of it. So that means time to lift since i have to replace them I am going to go with the Toytec Ultimate but want to know should i buy the OME rear struts instead of the Pro comp I am build this to handle 33s and will do a 2 inch body lift in the future. the runner will be used for dd and weekend trails here in AZ as wells as other trails in the southwest.

also is the pan hard bar drop bracket really need and are wheel spacers needed i have taco, 4th gen 4runner 5 spoke wheels

well, the rear is coils and shocks... I would go with some bilstein shocks in the rear and get some 7 wrap LC coils from Katy at ROCKI TOP AUTO

thats what I have in my 96, LINY4runner, SteezeMcqueen, FoneRunner, Sn0wRunner and a bunch more of us here have the LC coils and I would say they are better than the OME, but I am a bit biased.

I dont think you can do much better than Bilstein as far as shocks for the price. I have Procomp shocks in the back and they are cheap and I am not a huge fan.

I didnt need the Panhard extension, and alot of others havent needed it, but some have, so the answer is, you might, but you might not.

good luck! cant wait to see pics

oh, and Welcome!! :welcome:

oh, and I am super jealous of your Rear locker! :biggrin2:

Well i am going to go with the toytec ultimate lift with the ome med springs, and ome shocks as well at the 650 front springs due to the fact that im a little bigger then the most people and i want custom front and rear bumpers with a winch out front. I have already wheeled it and it definately need new tires i will through some pics up when all said and done may be ordering tomorrow and have it installed friday night or saturday if i can get it this week.

From the looks of it i may not need spacers but its hard to tell right now.
