Hello, joined up yesterday and thought I'd introduce myself. I have a black 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 (196,000 mi.) that I love but sadly it blew a head gasket last week and now I'm in limbo as to what to do with it. I found this site by searching blown head gaskets on 3rd generation 4runners, found it helpful. I laughed because the dealer that works on my car has said that this style of 4Runner has a "cult like following"...and from what I've read on here, it's true. lol
