Help. 3rd Gen Non-ABS owners

I'm having trouble finding the default state of my load sensing proportioning valve and it's only on non-abs cars. Not alot of people own them and even less people have problems with it. It's a valve with an arm, attached to a spring to the rear axle. It should be right next to the drivers side rear wheel. The purpose of the valve is to adjust drum brake pressure based on cargo load, so this measurement should be done without a heavy cargo load in the back.

You may want to expand your search to include 1st gen Tacoma. The LSPV was commonly used on them.

I thought about that, but the LSPV is a different part on the Tacomas and the Land Cruisers. Some use a bent arm, some use a vertical piston like spring, and some use a lateral pull spring. Freakin' toyota. Anyways, I just pulled the part out and using some common sense, it seems like the piston is partially seized. There's no spring like response from the piston.
