Hi all,
I recently purchased the SwitchPros 8100, and everything is just groovy, but I am running into a problem installing the blue (switched 12v power) wire and the yellow (dimmer) wire.
They supply a backpack fuse for the switched power wire, that I would love to tap a fuse under the hood - however i haven't found anything that i can tap into and I would rather not tap into the EFI fuse - would rather a spot that has the least amount of things to go wrong. I currently have a switched light accessory on my 10A INJ (LED lights in the front).
I have seen Ronins build where he taps into the A pillar, to an empty fuse loc, but the fuse cover won't go back on if thats the case and I also really don't want to go back through the firewall with this wire (but will if I have to).
here is a picture of the fuse box under-hood and you can see where i have already tapped with a backpack fuse
and a diagram for reference
As for the yellow wire, going to a dimmer, is there a cleaner way to tap into a headlight or parking light that isnt a T - Tap? Currently open for opinions on this.
thats all for now, looking forward to hearing your feedback, and thank you SO much!
