HELP 5VZFE (3.4) Power Steering Pulley nut equivalent.

Had some weird symptoms on the way to work this morning. Come to find out the pulley nut on the PS pump has fallen off. Toyota can have one tomorrow but that doesn't help the 27 miles commute home then back. The P# is 9017812003 or 44311B. IIRC the nut head is 14mm and its fine thread. I need an inside measurement or I guess I could take a trip to ace grab a handful of nuts....and give it a go. The kicker is I have a whole bunch of extra hardware in storage.

If it's a 14mm head it'll almost certainly be a 12x1.25, but are you sure the nut is that small? IIRC the PS pulley nuts on my 22RE and 3RZ motors have all been 17mm or 19mm heads.

Hmmm good question, I thought it was small but I'm not 1000% sure. I can take a wrench or caliper tool at lunch time and see what's what as far a OD.

OD looks like 11.959 let's call it 12

Checked the wife's, it's a 17mm head. That should make it a 14mm nut. I'm looking at parts pics on EBay and I'm guessing that's 1.25 thread.

edit - no, you're right, all the bolts in my bucket with 17mm heads are 12mm bore.

Update,,,,damn it!

Well as luck would have it the nut fell off and that wouldnt be the end of it. I kept getting a squealing noise from the belts, the PS or Vane Pump as Toyota refers to it. The pumps shaft is splined, the pulley is splined. Apparently when you loose a nut the shaft attacks the pulley and removed the splines. So I have a splineless sloppy fitting pulley. As if that wasn't pain the ass enough my pulley is a 3 hole, and the others I've found per my vehicle fitment are 4. The spline count is 18 on my 3 hole and looks to be 17 on the 4 hole. Though my count could be off.
