HELP. Alaskaman's in law buys a Jetta.

ok. he buys a Jetta. the driver's seat is angled in such a way it causes back pain. the dealer "fixes" it and it's worse. so he ends up driving the 97 4Runner and guess who gets to drive the Jetta? right my daughter.........we have checked Jetta forumns without much help. IF ANYONE can help us get a comfy drivers seat into that frickin' germotrash PLLLEASE advise me....Dangueshane or whuever:bash:

I know a few people with Jettas and Civics that both have the same problems. They just make due and leave a sweater on the seat at all times to roll up and stuff behind their lower back. The seats are designed horribly.

What year Jetta are you referring to? My wife has an 02 GLX with some of the finest seats I have sat in. (She gives the V8 runner a good race too!) You can adjust everything. I know VW vortex is full of punks so it is tough to search and get useful info. Perhaps finding used GTI or GLI seats would be more comfortable.
