Help: Best settings in Snow / Ice?

Lots of good stuff on here about the drive systems on the new 4Runners - thanks for the link to the Toyota University info btw ! How well does the multi-terrain system on the Trail edition work in Snow ? Can anyone comment on the multi-terrain ABS in winter road conditions?

4WD helps you go, but doesn't help you stop or turn.

I can't tell you how many times I have said that exact same thing to people.

I went with Blizzak DM-V1s at 255/75/17. Can't say enough good things about them.

I guess this is where the TE's multi-terrain select would come in handy, allowing for some wheel spin to get you moving

Other than the Mud & Sand setting, the truck needs to be in 4LO to use the multi-terrain select.
