Help choosing Tires

Wow, your a whiny little b i t c h. If you dont want to spend an extra 30 minutes researching something yourself, you shouldnt be investing $1000+ into your truck. If you notice most of my posts are reviving old threads that I need help from. To be completely honest, i didnt feel I was being mean by posting that. Haha, let ME do some research and I will find you a dozen "which tire" threads from last week.

OH, and the point of the forum is to introduce new ideas or questions. Filling the server with hundreds of tire threads only slows the site down. And if youve been searching for weeks?! Then 30 minutes wouldnt hurt right?! Hmmm...

Two days later and that's what you decide to post. Do similar threads get posted?...yes. Do you need to open each one, especially if you have nothing of substance to say?...no. The search function isn't always the best, especially when you have specific ( i.e. the 10 different questions he asked about) questions. You, and the type of post you have above, give this forum a bad name. Quit being a douche, and move on.

Similar threads get posted but mods dont make a sticky for a tire thread, they come up all the time. I open threads to help people but tire threads get annoying. You look questions up one at a time. To all the newer forum members: please ignore Brian757. He obviously got a LOT of sand in his vagina sometime recently, and it's really bothering him. He'll get over it soon I believe.

As a lover of tires, tire shopping, etc....and someone who just ordered a set of tires, I know the process can seem daunting. However, there are some very readily available knowledge bases that will answer all the size/load range questions that seymourwaters posted originally. This is the best one that I know of...

Beyond that, it's a matter of your own opinion and your own research. Questions asked on the forum for opinions are great. I usually read lots of reviews for each tire I'm considering, and then consider what I really need the tire to do.

Back on track here girls. I am satisfied with my yokohama at-s tires. I choose them because the runner drives on the streets daily, not just in the dirt, The geolander provides a smooth ride, yet has the ability to go out in the desert without worrying about it going pop. Anyway, i have had excellent use out of toyo open country m/t's on my pig heavy dodge diesels in the desert, in my opinion, the most hard core production tire made. We finished the baja 1000 in a diesel stock full on the same set of tires we left the line with, and this was a dot toyo, not some race compound project tire. Tried a set of generals last year, meh ! so so, bad road noise and tracked all over the road, as well, not a great wet pavement tire. Never been a BFG fan.Anyway, take this info or leave it.
Like anything else in the world, you get what you pay for. good tires are not cheap, and cheap tires are not good.

I just got myself a set these... Cooper Mud Claws, Eldorado MTZ, or Wild Country MTX.... all the same tire. And they are super affordable, and I think they perform above duratracs, and a Maxxis Bighorn.

The thread is clearly labeled a tire thread, which you find so annoying, so why even open it? And I'm still trying to figure out what hypocrisy I was involved in...the OP asked a question, I, and about 10 others, had no problems answering it for him. Yet you decide to come back and call him a whiny b*itch for no reason...stay classy man, I'm sure once you get to the real world, you'll do just fine.

I don't troll, I take a few minutes every now and then to give some input, answer some questions, and ask some questions. That's what people do on a forum. I've been doing just that for the past year. Maybe once you are done with your grammar and punctuation class, you can take the time during recess and realize how ridiculous you sound.


OP, I am curious as to what you have decided to go with? I've seen a few people in the last few days go with something from that list I made for you, and all seem pretty happy with their choices.

Haha! Thats actually sort of funny. But I honestly wasn't trying to be a ****. I was encouraging the search fuction. Some of you guys went a little far. i do post relevent information to many posts. I just posted in this thread to remind a new user to utilize the search function and it got out of hand. You jumped it when i was defending myself. I am wondering why you have that picture in your photobucket
