HELP! Crankshaft Sprocket Removal

I have my engine down for a timing belt change. I want to change the seal behind the front crankshaft. I have tried a three point puller but the damn sprocket won't budge. I have heated it, used penetrating oil....almost everything. I am out of ideas.

Help if you can! Thanks!

How about a harmonic balancer puller.
You've removed the bolt right? (had to ask)

The few I've done have just slid off with the maybe the help of a large screwdriver.

I wonder if the keyway on the crank has moved?

I'd soak it with PB or the like, put the three jaw puller on there and crank down on it to a point, then walk away. The constant tension over time should pull it off.

Hitting the front face with a drift punch before applying the puller may help as well.

When I did the 96 my key was half sheared off. But my finger pulled it off the crank. Which is funny considering what I went through getting the harmonic balancer off.

Lower pulley should be drilled and tapped..use steering wheel puller so as not to damage the back of pulley
