Help Diagnose my T4R :(

1996 T4R SR5 5-Speed

I've done a thousand hill starts in this thing, but just now it wouldn't move!

I'm in first gear let my foot off the clutch give it some gas and it stalls. Try it again at about 3500 rpm then let my foot off the gas and it stalls again! Check that my E-Brake is off and it is. Try it again at 5000 rpm and then it goes.

My ABS light is on at start-up too. Don't know if that is related or not.

While in first gear, let the clutch out VERY slowly, with no gas. Does it start going, or just die? When I say slowly I mean like...10 seconds to let off all the way.

I cannot recreate the situation. What I mean by that is, sometimes ill let off the clutch slowly and it'll go and sometimes it won't.

Does the ABS light go off after 3 seconds? If so, thats normal and its always done that.

Are you sure you aren't in 3rd?

It does go off at three seconds, i guess I just noticed it. I was definitely in 1st.

Do you know how to drive a manual? Is your clutch slipping because you learned how to drive a manual in this vehicle, whilst burning up the clutch?

I know how to drive stick, learned in an old truck.

I solved it. I don't know how this worked but, my transfer case wasn't fully engaged into 2 wheel drive. Now it works fine. Weird
