I'm working on the tunda brake upgrade and I'm running into a problem with the springs. On the 4runner there is a flat piece of spring steel that I'm not sure what the point is but I can put it back on if needed. Someone let me know if this is needed. Also, the new calipers came with 2 spring retainers. The one on the outside that keeps the pins in place and another one that is kinda shaped like a W but I have no idea where that one goes. The only thing I can think of is that it goes through one of the pins and helps to keep the pads apart in the tundras. Someone give me some help quick as I'm into this now and need the truck for tomorrow.
