Hi, I've been chasing a rough idle issue for a while now and I have a a timing question for ultragauge/scanguage owners. When I watch my timing advance on my ultragauge at a stop in neutral(manual trans) at 650 rpm, it jumps around 12-18 degrees, minor rough idle. if I rev the engine to 1000 rpm, engine runs really rough, timing advance is locked at 9 degrees. As soon as it gets to 1100 rpm, timing advance jumps to 29 degrees and engine smoothes out. Can someone confirm this behavior on their runner? I think I have a crank sensor issue.
