HELP!!! Fuse removal harmful?!

Ok so it rained today, and I got the bright idea to remove the fuse responsible for VSC, traction control, abs, etc. I believe it was fuse 53. This was awesome to say the least. It basically allowed me to drift and burnout without the obnoxious traction control. I know it is highly illegal to remove a fuse that keeps these essential components from functioning, but is it harmful to my 4runner. I would only use it for off road purposes......mainly haha. The only drawback that I have seen is that little annoying, high-pitched buzzer starts to go off after abt one minute. The same one that beeps when you try to engage 4Lo while in drive or moving. It just goes off constantly. Is there anyway to temporarily disengage this buzzer. Thanks ahead of time.

Pulling the wire connector on the master cylinder is what many do to yield the same results. They don't complain about the beep. It's the little, 2-wire connector on the front, right side of the master cylinder. I say front right side, that's with you standing in front of the battery and looking in.

Make sure you are turning off your side airbags while doing donuts. Does it beep constantly or when the side-airbags get scared I guess that's a moot point if you don't have the optional side-airbags.

I don't have the side air bags so I guess that solves that question. Ha. Can you describe in a little more detail what it is you are talking about disconnecting? Does it show all the lights on in the display when this is done so that I will know that all of it is off? Yes the noise is constant; I guess it's so you know that you are in trouble with all of those components off.

Thanks man. I will try this tomorrow once I get off and let you know how it goes. Do you have any idea how the locking of the diff works when all of this is off? What is the effect when in 4wheel drive?

The center diff will lock. The ATRAC does not work. To reset the lights you have to shut the vehicle off, plug the wire on and restart. If you just reinsert the plug without shutting the vehicle off it won't reset the system until you shut the vehicle off.
