Help! How do you get the bushing off rear shocks?

I've tried pushing it through with a clamp but it doesn't want to push all the way through. Should I heat up the bushing? Any ideas?

can you be more specific? are you talking about the bushing and metal tube on the bottom of the shock where it bolts to the axle?

Yes the bottom bushing on the shock itself. Can't seem to push it out

Heat gun or butane torch will burn it out of the housing.

But why would you need to remove that?

Do you mean you can't get it off the peg on the axle? Pry bar

I'm putting taco shocks on. The bushing is smaller on tacos. Replace it with a bigger bushing and it'll fit. Though I could just hand press it out but not.

Use a bench vise and some PVC. There's actually a little homemade press you can make with a bolt and some washers

I got it! Vise and a little elbow grease. Easy install after. Thanks guys
