Help I am dead on the side of the road!!

Luckily I was about a mile from home and walked to get some tools. Ok this is what happened, I heard this Click and my RPM gauge stopped working and my ABS / battery light went off. So my light turned green and it started choking and sputtering, like it was outta gas (just filled up). Also my radio was going on and off each time I brake. When I was in a safe spot I turned it off and tried to start it, nothing but click click click. I think it could be my alternator, but why did it sputter like that? (Battery is a month old)

check to make sure your getting 13.2-14V while its running.
-rule out alternator

It could have had a bad alt then it eventually took all the juice out of the batt.

you can jump it for a bit to recharge the bat then try and drive it home. (if its a batt problem)

if not keep checking. any codes? CEL?

I'd bet on a battery cable/terminal problem or ground connection.
