HELP!! I can't get my 2nd row cup holders to come out.

I'm a new owner, as well as new to the forum, of a 2005 4runner sport. I just bought it 3 days ago, and I can't get the 2nd row cupholders to come out. If its broken, is there anyway to open the armrest to get to it/fix it? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Yes, the armrest comes out and apart. There's a little bolt on the drivers side of the armrest that will allow it to come out and the cloth cover unzips on the rear or the armrest to allow you to get to the inside stuff. I took mine apart to clean it..
