HELP!! I have a rattle in the rear somewhere

i did do s search, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Actually, I had 2 rattles but I found the first one.

For those future owners, i will tell you where the first rattle was.... that little compartment below the radio had a slight space inbetween the door jam and the little rubber bumper. SO I bought some tiny circular felt pads/feet and stuck like 4 of them together on both sides and no more rattle.

Now the rear rattle has me stumped. It really isn't a rattle as much is it more of a ticking/clicking type of noise. I thought it was the strap on the rear hatch door so I tried taping it, but that wasn't it.

I thought maybe the license plate holder, but I don't think I would hear that inside.

I thought I recalled something awhile ago back about the rear seat latch.

It is a total random noise and is only noticable when going over 40MPH (not wind related, happens with windows up)

Any ideas?

I had to do this fix on my 06' a few weeks ago. The noise you are hearing is coming from your rear seat latches. Simply put some electrical tape on the latch part (with your rear seats folded down), and problem solved. Do a search and you will find quit a bit of info including a thread I did. It will take you all of 10 minutes to do. Good luck

The duct tape thing is probably the fix (it was on mine), but if that doesn't work, I have had, and heard people complain about rattles from the following:

Loose slider on roof rack
Rear tonneau cover
Loose jack in rear cubby
Rear arm rest tray
