Help! Lean has me baffled...

You need an adjustable panhard bar. As a test disconnect one end of the bar and set the truck down..

I don't have these springs but I do use airlift coil inserts. If I unload the weight with the bags at high pressure (raising 3" or so), it will lift much more on the passenger side. The stock panhard is lifting the axle on the driver side at this height.

I disconnected the driver side of the Panhard bar and set the truck down, no change...

I agree, count the coils, driver side has more.

It appears as though the driver side spring is compressed more but when I count them, they have the same amount of coils.

It is possible that the passenger spring was mislabeled... but it is giving the proper amount of lift for that spring...so idk
And now I’m on the second coil on the driver side doing the same lean. I think it’s something else but I’m no guru

The only way I can rule out anything with the passenger spring is to swap it too, but I need to find time to do that now!

Running dobinsons c59-675v in the rear with 59-575 shocks
All other suspension parts stock

The truck is leaning on the drivers side rear something fierce! Dobinsons even sent me another rear coil free of charge, I swapped it and got the same amount of lean. I have even went as far as disconnecting the sway bar, seeing how much tension the stock links were under.... but still no effect on lean.

Fender to ground
Rear passenger: 41.5 inches
Rear driver: 37.5 inches

Any ideas?

When they sent the second coil did you put it on the low or high end? Follow me? Good luck

I concur, but a better option is a panhard relocation bracket. I corrects the geometry and it cured the lean for me. The lean became more obvious after I went to MetalTech long travel. Truck now sits level.

It's an important step when installing a lift to loosen all the linkage bolts that run through bushings, and re-torque so the bushings can release and reset to the new ride height, that way the bushings aren't under stress at static height, bushings will last much longer this way. I don't expect it could cause the lean you're dealing with though.

Check the rear springs to ensure the top is properly centered in the bucket and not up on the lip causing the spring to not fully settle in.

If that doesn't work, then swap the extra spring with the one original to the lift, and see if it was the bad one.

That looks like the Dobinson Progressive spring on the one side and the regular on the other. The progressives get tight like that on the wraps. I think you have two different springs..

It’s possible it’s a mislabeled spring
But I can see the tag on it and it says “675v”
all of the 3 coils I have are labeled as 675v

Only thing I can do is try and swap it when I have time and see if it still leans

post an update when you can. I am intrigued by this... :peep:

When you do find the time to swap the remaining original spring, make sure to take some pics side by side while they are both out of the truck. And make sure to check the top of the spring/spring isolator is properly seated in the bucket and not hung up on the lip.
