Help me convince WeatherTech to make mudflaps for 3rd gens

It's proving harder than anticipated to find a willing scanner operator... I get alot of "just for a mudflap...nah, just by one from amazon"

Does anyone have a 3D scanner and would be interested/ willing to scan my RH part so we can get some decent data?

Looking for a clean scan i can mirror and print so i can keep this going, getting a LH part

Hey Charlie, where can I find a file of the full length original mud flap?
I tried looking a few years back and only came up with the shorty file. The original full length files were all behind dead links.

The files that I did get a few years back were also kind of rough, I'm guessing a limitation of the tech at the time. Hoping if I cant find a full flap file, a scan with a modern scanner would give me the best bet for a reprint.

I just checked my files - it looks like I only have the "trimmed" STL files... I run the trimmed flaps with flexible flat flaps that hang down farther to protect the body.

(I later added the second flap farther back to protect even more - check it out, basically nothing made it do the doors)

That looks sharp!
What you have is my back up option if I can't get a full length part file. Somthibg to clean up the flare but still offer protection. Heck it might even be the better option as the original long flaps are hard plastic and I imagine them breaking if you run up on a log or rock.
