The other day my check engine light came on on my way home. I read the code with my SG and looked it up. the code is p1780 which means the neutral/park switch but I replaced the switch almost 2 years so the chances of it going bad are slim, anyways it was dark out and I was tired and told myself that I will look at it tomorrow so I ended up just clearing the code. the next day I get in the truck and start it and everything seems fine but I notice that both my park and reverse lights in the cluster are on. I take the truck for a spin to make sure everything is working correctly. the truck is running fine until I flash my high lights and it drops a gear. I freak out and start to push buttons to see what sets it off, I seems that the problem only happens when my lights are on and I either flash my high beams or press the ect button. After all this testing i did, I turn off and on the truck and everything seems back to normal, like it never happened, I do more driving and cant replicate it, the problem just went away. Now today on my way home from work its happening again, the park and reverse lights are on at the same time in the cluster and everytime I turn on my high beams or press the ect button the truck seems to downshift. I thinking its a short somewhere to do with the lights and the cluster. Here are some pics that show how the lights in the cluster behave when I mess with the high beams and ect. Can someone point me in the right direction and tell me how to tackle this problem.

Was the replacement park/neutral switch OEM or aftermarket? This seems like voltage is being carried over to different circuits via corrosion or shorting somehow.
most recent work was about a year ago i replaced the headlights and foglights to brighter ones. I also replaced the stereo again to one with bluetooth and added the scanguage. all this not including regular maintenance. I also just checked that all the wiring around the truck to do with lights was on correctly and nothing was loose or worn, basically made sure that the bulbs and connectors were making full contact.
after doing a bit of reading the last few days trying to figure this out, it looks like I have a short with either my cluster or somewhere with the headlights. Since I have not really done any rewiring with the headlights and I just made sure everything was on right Im thinking is my cluster thats going bad/has a short. It looks like I can replace the circuit board on the cluster itself. Anyone know where I can get one other than a junkyard?
