HELP ME GUYS--My cousin has cancer

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to read this. The following is an email from the younger sister of my cousin who has just recently been diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer.

Dear Friends,

It's really hard for me to write this letter, but I have to share my
story and make my plea. Some of you may know that my sister is extremely
sick, while others may be unaware of her entirely. For those of you who
do not know her, please let me share a little bit of her life with you.
Her name is Tiffany, but she also goes by Honey and Mommy. She just
celebrated her 32nd birthday this past September and more recently was
diagnosed with gastric (stomach) cancer. This past Monday she had to
undergo surgery in order to understand the extent of her cancer.
Unfortunately, the news was not so good. All the specialists claimed
that their hands are tied...that there is nothing more that they can do,
for the cancer has spread past her inner stomach and beyond, that she'll
only have a few months to live. However, our family refuses to make
this her fate. Thus we make our plea to you. Please, please let us
know of any remedies that you may have heard of...any miracles that you
can share. Please call 714-425-1002 on my cell phone or email me at
[email protected] or [email protected]. For as I'm writing this
email, her son is asking for mommy..then as he remembers the hospital
visit, mumbles "mommy is sick."

Please pass this story on, to as many people as you
can...for we are hoping to reach the one person with the miracle. Also,
for those of you who do know Tiff, she does not know her plight. Please
do not call her or ask her any questions.

I am truly sorry to hear about this. There is no remedy that i know of. Unfortunately, gastric cancer is very aggressive and silent. By the time that you actually have symptoms (stomach pain, vomiting, etc.), the cancer has spread elsewhere. There is very little that any doctor can do with this type of cancer. Chemotherapy and radiation treatments may be helpful in relieving the pain.

I hope that your family will find the answer that they are looking for. God bless your cousin and her family.

I think I can say on behalf of everbody on this board that we are truly sorry to hear about your cousin's condition, and wish her and your whole family all of the best for what lies ahead.

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear this.

My Dad died last may of stomach cancer they found it early 3 years ago and removed 3/4 of his stomach and put him on the most aggressive chemo therepy there was they gave him a 80% chance of survival, 2 years later it was back and spread and when they found it they gave him 3 months to live he was 57.

I am not a religious man so all I can say to you is spend as much time as you can with her and let her know how much she is loved the quality time is short,once the Morphine/medication dose increase's more and more she will sleep and not be focused.

I have to tell you the last month was the worst I was sad beyond understanding when my Dad finally passed but was also happy for him.

Cancer makes you realize how short life can be and to appreciate it more.

Sorry to hear about that. But this might sound cruel, people die. It is not fair, but it happens. My mom died of Pancratic cancer when I was 10 and my dad died of alcoholism when I was 17. All my other relatives are already dead. So I am surviving with just my younger brother. Makes you a stronger person....
