I was tired of seeing ignorant plates on cars ... that have nothing to do with cars, just the ignoramuses behind the wheel... and wanted to stand out from other vanity plates that are, for the most part, obnoxious.

I agree with that. I wasn't suggesting anything arrogant. My point is that people can already see what you're driving so if you're going to spend $10 or more every year for what amounts to a bumper sticker then why not say something about something you care about other than your car. COB said his 4Runner is what he cares about and that it is a 4 cylinder. Okay.

I did see a plate on a Hummer driving down I95 in Virginia that said "Hum This" a few years ago. I though that was hilarious since there are so many :barf: honda drivers who think no one should drive a truck or SUV. You know, the smug drivers who think the only thing vehicles are for is picking up bean sprouts and cat litter. The ones who can't conceive how anyone could hunt while they eat their greenhouse grown McDonalds hamburger.

I think it's a blessing in disguise that dude took your idea. I don't really like DIRTY 4R. I don't think I have ever seen your 4Runner dirty.

You're right, it would suit it alright (keyword: alright) when it was dirty, but it is clean most of the time. I'd feel like too much of a poser with that plate.
