Help: measure 7th notch on bilstein 6112.. anyone?

I’m preparing to make a lower spring perch similar to the toytec one. Does anyone here have the 6112 new? I need some measurements. Any help appreciated.

I am installing the trd pro kit. So im needing to get at least 3” of lift. I can probably get 2.5” but i would have to use spacers. Lower spring perch spacer. ( preload) and a top plate spacer. I would much rather use a taller(14” instead of 13”) coil spring and a different rate(600 or 650# instead of atock trd at 550#). If i do end up using the spacer, im planning to fabricate the spring perch spacer to the height the 7th notch is on the regular bilstein 6112. The trd pro 6112 has only 2 notches. If i had the measurements of notches then i can make the spacer. But i will know today, im waiting to speak with dobinsons about just replacing the springs.

Interested in this as well. I know its probably frowned upon but couldn't you cut in a higher notch on a lathe? Do regular lift springs work with these shocks?

Rather than cut, you just use the toytec spring perch spacer. It basically does same thing as if having the added notches. I did look up other springs that should work. Eibach and king makes them. King is the best price. It’s a 14” length , 3” internal diameter, 650 or a 700 pound spring rate. Either may work but only add about 1” or so of lift over the 1” you get from the Trd Pro kit. Dobinsons offers similar but normal stock spring rate. But I need firmer to handle extra weight from a plate bumper and winch I’ll be adding

So these take 3" id springs vs say ome or eibach?

Correct. A 2.5” body coilover uses a 3” coil. King coilover makes a spring and Eibach makes them as well. Read this and may eliminate that lower spacer.

Has been done as u can see on a 6112. And u can use 650or 700 which 650was recommended
