I have purchased what we here in Alaska call a "beater with a heater" 1993 4runner with the 22re.
I am not that mechanically inclined, however I can stumble thru most projects with minimal blood loss.
Here is my problem.
When idling the rpm's surge up to 1500, and drop down to 9-1000.
This is what I have done.
I have turned the flat screw on throttle body, so that when warm the truck idles is 750, also have replaced the PCV.
Visual on the vac. lines.
Pulled intake off front of throttle body and sprayed cleaner into it while feathering the throttle to keep running. (I hear this might not be a good idea?)
Please point me in the right direction.
And thank you very much.
Kurt
