Greetings,
I have read through the forums here and I need help. I am running into the issue with this.
I went to put Toytec 2.5 boss on my 2014 TE, with Total Chaos UCA. I installed the UCA's with no issues. I am running into problems with the springs though.
Here is the process I did.
1. Lifted vehicle, unconnected the spindles. unconnected the KDSS from the LCA (I think I should have done this while it was on the ground)?
2. removed OE UCA
3. Removed OE shock assembly
4. Inserted Toytec Boss 2.5 shock assembly. While doing this I had no support on the KDSS piston in the front
4a. (Do I need to support this with a jack? at this point I have only disconnected the sway bar from the LCA, do I need to disconnect the sway bar from the brackets holding it under the engine compartment?
5. After installing both shocks and new UCAs I went to re-attach the sway bar with the vehicle in the air and HORRIBLE experience. Now the bushing and the brackets do not sit in their original factory bar metal location on the sway bar, they sit about 2 inches further up. How do I fix this?
I AM lost and would really like to talk with someone over the phone about this if possible.
If you are willing to help me please send me a PM and I will send you my phone number. Or if you live in North Carolina Raleigh area and are willing to work for beer please let me know as well.
I am also looking for a video or a picture gallery that could help me with this issue.
