Help - parts needed

Hi - I've got a 1997 4Runner Limited and am in need of a right side running board. I got side swiped by a 'texter' and he totally crunched the side of my car. The body shop called to tell me that Toyota no longer makes/stocks parts for my car - the running board they got from the dealer doesn't match the left side. Any ideas on what my options are? Will the running board from a '98 SR5 fit? (I found one at a salvage yard) I love my car, and love the look of the original running boards - it would break my heart to have to pull them off. I appreciate any guidance from the group!

What color are you? I've got some I believe off my 97 that I took off ages ago. There might be a rock chip or two but they've been sitting in the garage for around 7 months now.

Definitely keep checking the classifieds section. Running boards come up for sale very often. You'll have no problem finding them here.
