HELP please~

my temp gauge doesnt work.. it works on and off.. what could be wrong??

also i have 73k miles on my 99 v6limited 4wd. what should i get changed? should i do 75k miles maintenance from a dealer?? please help this noob.. i just got this car and itz running great~!~

Check the thermostat most likely it went bad.

no it should be pretty cheap, call the dealer and ask them what they charge for one.

I would not get any service at the dealer or "stealership" they will charge you way more than it should cost. Check around and find a good local shop that people recomend. It will cost a lot less this way. I would stay away from Midas Amoco those kinds of places charge to much also.

I think he is suggesting to call the dealer and ask for a price for the OEM part, not to have the service done. This is a simple DIY task. I also suggest calling your local dealer. If it is expensive, order the part from partznet.

You may also want to check for a bad connection/bad ground. A cheap multimeter can be had for $20 at your local hardware store.

Yeah just call to get a price on the OEM part those parts are always a better bet than aftermarket, It is really simple to change, if possible I would invest in a repair manual for your rig. good luck
