help please

ok so my clear turn signals and and corner lights just came in but i'm having trouble. I can get them unscrewed and disconnected but after this is where i'm stuck. my new lights look like this

and they have a nice whole where i'm suppose to put in the bulb and little connector thing...problem is i cant get that out of my old ones...

anyone no how to get these out? I tried just pulling or twisting them out but when they wouldnt come out i decided not to pull too hard because i didnt want to break them and then have them not even work for my stock setup.

that goes for my turn signals too, idk how to get those damn things out so i can put them in to my new light housing...

You just twist the grey connector a quarter turn and they pop out.

Don't worry, they will not break that easily.

really? I tried looking in there to see if that would work but maybe i was just twisting the wrong way. dang. lol. i'll try tomorrow when its sunny outside and see if i can get em. thanks Rock Slide.

Rock Slide has it right on. It stinks that yours didn't come with bulbs. I'm pretty sure mine did.

You'll be able to see the outline of the way they twist together on your new lights. The little grey connecter has little flares that extend out from the edge in a few spots. The grey connector has to be twisted so these flares line up with the slots in the light housing so the grey piece can slide out.

The installation will be the reverse. Fit the grey piece into the right grooves in the light housing and twist to set it in place.

Sorry if its confusing without pics. I tried to describe it the best I could.

No i know just what you meant by that and i tried doing that but when the grey piece didnt budge i didnt want to stress it too hard because the last thing i wanted to do was break it and have to go get a new harness.

and i did get bulbs with the new lights, they just didnt have the grey piece that connects to the wiring harness so i have to use the stock one and then put in the new bulbs that came with the lights i bought of ebay.

i really hope i'll be able to put them on tomorrow before i go to work cuz if i cant its going to have to wait till like monday because i'll be gone snowboarding all weekend and im not getting back till sunday night.

You guys are exactly right. lol.

the corner lights came off with just a slight bit of force but i couldnt get my turn signals off to save my life till i used some pliers. lol.

Looks good. That's on my list of things to do in the near future. Just waiting for my birthday which is coming up in March.
