ok i am open to all suggestions at this point!!!!!i will give a quick run down on engine 1990 4 runner 3.0 previuos owner rebuilt motor but screwed up the cam caps on pass. head. i bouhgt a new head and installed now it starts great runs fine until i bring it up over 2,000 rpm or drive it more than a mile (grandma style) then engine light pops on and runs like crap (can hardly move sounds like trans is slipping or bogging down badly) keep in mind that when i drive and before the light comes on it shifts great even in to over drive. yes i have pulled the codes and i get a dreaded 52.
i will list all the parts that are new
heads (ported and polished),intake and pllenum (ported and polished),bored otu thorrtle body and polished,bottom end complletly rebuilt everything new (balanced and blue printed) injectors new,pugs,wires,cap,rotor,new intake and k&n filter.
i have double and triple checked my vaccum lines rechecked the tps and am getting frustradted going to dealer today to get new pigtail for knock sensor (hope this is the issue) please help thank you very much:thanks:
