Ok i have 94 toyota 4x4 that i just bought off a kid that took it swimming lol the old motor did start but knocked bad # 2 cyd bad so i found a 85 model 22r that a friend just pulled out running fine and we changed all the stuff over and dropped it in the 94 But it will not start and run unless we keep spraying gas/starting fluid in it :bash: I also have another 94 model 4x2 and we have double checked everything but it seems like its not getting any fuel =( its getting fuel to the intake when we losen the bolt on the side it had pressure and squirts out every where so at this point i am lost so any help will be great Thanks

So you put the carb'd engine in you EFI truck? Did you change the computer? Fuel pump?

And try using a period or two when typing...helps the rest of us read what you wrote.

Sorry was in a hurry... lol I converted the 22r to the 22re so now its a 22re. Im pretty sure we have everything right but its not getting fuel to the injecters i guess. Yes we have good fuel to the filter and upto the intake. we did check fuses and relays. Bare with me please i am new to the 22re motor Thanks

Is your air flow meter hooked up to the throttle body and plugged in?

If your air flow meter is not hooked up to the throttle body then you will not get gas to your injectors.

how long was the other motor sitting before you put it in your truck?
